As Datavant’s Onboarding Specialist, you will lead the day-to-day management of salaried onboarding, making key decisions to enhance the new hire experience and embodying the company’s culture as the first point of contact. You’ll ensure a seamless onboarding process, from distributing paperwork to facilitating orientation sessions, while maintaining strong relationships with new hires and hiring managers. You will:

  • Manage the day-to-day process of salaried onboarding;  building & implementing processes and making discretionary programmatic decisions to enhance Datavant’s new hire experience. 
  • Embody Datavant’s culture and values as the “face of Datavant” for new hires. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with new hires and hiring managers, ensuring quick response times and a high level of service, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Distribute and verify new hire paperwork, I-9 forms, and background checks, ensuring completion in adherence to Compliance standards. 
  • Manage New Hire journey tasks in Oracle HCM and Cleary. 
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to ensure a smooth handoff.
  • Collect and analyze survey data to implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with IT, Compliance, HR, and Legal to create/maintain a compliant, people-centric onboarding process. 
  • Own and facilitate One Track Orientation sessions and quarterly Executive Fireside Chats.
  • Develop and facilitate additional training courses as needed. 
  • Develop, document, implement content for our new Skills-Based Onboarding series.
  • Provide white-glove service for Executive/ C-level onboarding.
  • Create and maintain new hire communication channels. 

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 1-2+  years experience in onboarding, HR or Learning/Development
  • Ability to work autonomously and make programmatic decisions related to onboarding. 
  • Ability to take proactive initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Bonus points if:

  • You have experience using Oracle HCM, Cleary and/or Greenhouse ATS

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is  $55,000-$60,000.
